An early morning fire on July 29 that caused approximately $1-milllion worth of damage to the pavilion area at Christie Lake Conservation Area has resulted in a significant loss of equipment used by Camp Chippewa and Specialty Camps.

As we focus on resuming Camp Chippewa operations, work will also be done to assess the damage and loss to Day Camp equipment.

Already, generous community members have come forward to ask how they can support the Camp's recovery.
