The Ontario Get SET (Skills, Education and Training) program helps adults develop and apply communication, numeracy, interpersonal and digital skills to achieve their goals.
The Get SET program serves learners who have goals to successfully transition to employment, post-secondary, apprenticeship, secondary school, and increased independence. The program includes learners who may have a range of barriers to learning.
Eligibility
You must be a resident of Ontario and at least 18 years old.
This program is for people who have reading, writing and/or math skills below the grade 12 level. Your level will be assessed in relation to your individual goals when you enter the program.
You must be able to speak and listen well enough to benefit from lessons in the language of instruction (English or French).
Your service provider may ask for additional requirements.
This program might be good for you if you:
did not finish high school and want to prepare to get your Ontario Secondary School Diploma or to enter college
want to develop skills for better work opportunities including apprenticeship
want to improve your reading, writing, math, digital and other basic skills
