VSC 

Please note that this offer is contingent upon your Vulnerable Sector Check Report satisfying our policy requirements. Please ensure your Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) report has been issued within the past 6 months or arrange to obtain an updated report from your local police service. If a new report is required, please begin the process of obtaining these records and ensure that a receipt is uploaded. As a reminder, the cost of this initial report is your responsibility, however, subsequent reports will be reimbursed to you directly. *Any records check reports that are requested via a third-party agent, such as mybackcheck.com, certn.co, etc. will not be accepted.

Child Safety and Protection Orientation Document 

Child Protection is a key responsibility of all YMCA Staff. This document is intended to provide you with a brief overview of our Child Safety and Protection procedures, which is a requirement for all new YMCA employees to review prior to starting with the YMCA

Temporary SIN & Related Documents 

If you have a SIN starting with “9”, please submit a copy of your SIN verification document, along with your Work or Study Permit. (Study Permit must be submitted along with Letter of Enrollment/Completion from your College). If you have applied for a post-graduate Work Permit and are on “Applied Status”, a copy of IRCC Acknowledgement/Confirmation of your PGWP Application is also required.

Standard First Aid including Infant and Child CPR (level C) 

The YMCA of Hamilton/Burlington/Brantford requires staff to have current and valid Standard First Aid & CPR Level C training including AED (Defibrillator) training. If you are currently certified, please upload a copy of your certificate as part of your new hire package submission. If you are not currently certified, or have not yet renewed your certificate, kindly ensure you register and complete the training through a WSIB Approved Provider and upload a copy of your training course registration confirmation.
