Getting ready for post-secondary is exciting, but moving into residence or student housing can come with a lot of questions. This in-person information session is designed to help students feel confident and prepared as they transition to student living.

Join a Housing Services Worker from Brock University and the YMCA Youth Education Support Program (YESP) for a FREE informative workshop focused on navigating life in residence and off-campus student housing.

Learn about what to expect as a student living away from home, including

  • residence rules and expectations
  • maintaining academic standing,
  • meal plans
  • roommates
  • quiet hours
  • the supports available on campus.

Participants will also gain insight into the benefits and challenges of student housing, connect with peers who are preparing for the same transition, and have the opportunity to ask questions during an open discussion period.
