Ancaster and Hamilton Home Depot Stores Support YMCA Youth Through Orange Door Project Campaign
For the third year in a row, two local Home Depot stores—Ancaster (122 Martindale Crescent) and Hamilton (350 Centennial Parkway North)—are stepping up in a big way for young people in our community.
Through The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s Orange Door Project Campaign, both stores have once again selected YMCA Hamilton | Burlington | Brantford as their charity partner, supporting the YMCA’s Youth in Transition Worker (YITW) program.
This ongoing partnership continues to make a meaningful difference. Last winter’s campaign raised an incredible $23,148.94, an all-time high, to help sustain and grow the program. These funds directly support youth aged 16–24 who are navigating critical transitions, helping them find stable housing, build life skills, and move toward independence with confidence.
“At the YMCA, we know that long-term community impact is built through strong, consistent partnerships,” said Joel Côté, SVP, Philanthropy, YMCA Hamilton | Burlington | Brantford.
“We are incredibly grateful to the teams at both the Ancaster and Centennial Parkway Home Depot stores for choosing us again as their Orange Door Project partner. Their commitment, along with the generosity of their customers, helps ensure that young people in our community have the support they need to find stability and build brighter futures.”
As the spring campaign gets underway, the YMCA extends heartfelt gratitude to both Home Depot teams for their continued commitment and leadership. Their choice to support local youth year after year is a powerful example of community in action.
