YMCA Child Care

YMCA Child Care programs across Hamilton, Burlington and Brantford are CLOSED, January 26, 2026 including:

  • Full‑Day Child Care
  • Before & After School Care/ PA Day Camps 
  • EarlyON
  • Beyond the Bell

YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics Branches

All Health, Fitness & Aquatics branches will have a delayed opening of 9:00 AM on Monday, January 26, 2026, due to winter storm recovery efforts. Across all branches evening programming including Swim Lessons, Child & Youth Programs, and Group Fitness is cancelled after 3:45 PM. 

Make-up lessons resulting from today’s cancellations will occur during the week of March 16.

  • Opening delayed until 12:00 PM due to ongoing snow clearing
  • Fitness Centre: remains open
  • Evening programs: (Swim Lessons, Child & Youth Programs, Group Fitness) cancelled 
  • Open Gym: Still Open
  • Pool: closed for the full day
  Hamilton Downtown Family YMCA
  • Fitness Centre: Remains open.
  • Evening programs: (Swim Lessons, Child & Youth Programs, Group Fitness) cancelled
  • Open Gym: Still Open
  • Pool to close at 1:45 PM
Flamborough Family YMCA
  • Fitness Centre: Remains open
  • Evening programs including Swim Lessons, Child & Youth Programs, and Group Fitness classes cancelled after 4:00 PM.
  • Open Gym: Still Open
  • Pool to close at 3:45 PM.
Les Chater Family YMCA
  • Fitness Centre: Remains open.
  • Evening programs including Swim Lessons, Child & Youth Programs, and Group Fitness classes cancelled after 4:00 PM.
  • Open Gym: Still Open
  • Pool to close at 3:45 PM.
Laurier Brantford YMCA
  • Fitness Centre remains open
  • Evening programs including Swim Lessons, Child & Youth Programs, and Group Fitness classes cancelled after 4:00 PM.
  • Open Gym: Still Open
  • Pool to close at 3:45 PM
  • Building closes at 10:00 PM.

 

Employment, Immigration & Youth Intervention Services

All YMCA Employment Services, Youth Intervention Services, and Immigrant Services offices are closed to in-person appointments Monday, January 26, 2026, as service shifts to online.
