YMCA Holiday Giving Campaigns raise over $193K, helping more people access YMCA programs that build belonging
This holiday season, our YMCA community came together in an extraordinary way.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, our Holiday Campaigns for YMCA Hamilton|Burlington|Brantford, and YMCA Wanakita raised $193,326 It’s a powerful show of support that will open the doors to the YMCA for hundreds of people, giving them access to programs and spaces where belonging, connection, and community come to life.
Every gift made during the campaign helped ensure that the YMCA remains a welcoming third place — a safe, inclusive space where people of all ages can build confidence, form meaningful relationships, and feel they truly belong. For our communities in Hamilton, Burlington, and Brantford, we raised $116,950. That means community is no longer out of reach for 468 individuals.
From families looking for community, to youth discovering leadership, to individuals seeking wellness and connection, the impact of this campaign will be felt across our region in the months ahead.
This season of giving also extended north to YMCA Wanakita, where our community rallied in support of the Wanakita Holiday Campaign for the Camper Assistance Fund. Together, donors raised an incredible $26,374, helping remove financial barriers so more people can experience the magic of camp.
We are deeply grateful to the hundreds of donors who chose to give during the busy holiday season. Because of you, the YMCA is never out of reach for those who need it most.
