Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge that we gather on land that has been inhabited by the Anishinabek and Huron-Wendat people. As settlers, we thank all the generations of people who have taken care of this land for thousands of years.

We also recognize the contributions of Metis, Inuit, and other Indigenous peoples have made, both in shaping and strengthening our communities, provinces and country as a whole.

This continues to be the home to many Indigenous Peoples from across Turtle Island and we are grateful for the opportunity to work in this community and on their territory
