Campfire Keepers keep the fire of Wanakita burning bright...
They are stewards of the buildings, the land, and the lake, but even more, Campfire Keepers are stewards of developing young leaders and creating memorable camp experiences.
Through a monthly donation, Campfire Keepers are making sure every young person and family is able to have the time of their life at Wanakita. Campfire Keepers are integral to allowing YMCA Wanakita to provide financial support to those who need it most.
Campfire Keepers also help sustain Wanakita and its ongoing upkeep. From The Core and East Dining Hall to the cabins, canoes, and guitars, this monthly donation provides a fund for improving infrastructure and equipment, ensuring every experience at Wanakita is safe, magical, and memorable.
