The Before and After School Affordability Plan is a pilot program offered by the City of Hamilton, funded by the Province of Ontario. 2. The funding is only available for children 6 - 12 years of age who access before and after school programming. The funding is not available for full-day school-age programming. 3. My child care rate for before and after school care will be reduced to $15.00/day effective September 5, 2023 for each eligible child. 4. My child care centre will implement the reduced cost rate for either before or after school care. 5. This pilot program will only run from September 5, 2023 to June 28, 2024.
