Wanakita Women's Wellness Weekends are designed as a healthy retreat where you can reconnect with friends, enjoy the outdoors, eat healthy, delicious meals and be physically active.  A full range of traditional camp acitivities are here for you to enjoy from paddling, to interpretive nature walks, to ropes courses. This safe and supportive environment is the perfect place to try something new, or revisit favourite activities from your past.
In addition to traditional camp activities, Women's Wellness Weekend features special menus, fitness classes and other opportunities designed to enhance your well being in spirit mind and body. 
Fall Women's Wellness Weekend  September 25-27, 2020
Cost: $237 (plus 13% hst) 

The 2020 Fall Women's Weekend has been Cancelled.

Breathe deeply, take in the beautiful surroundings, try to catch an early morning glimpse of the blue heron on still water. Nature has a lovely way of renewing your spirit and that's just a taste of nature's offering in this beautiful setting. Your fall Women's Wellness Weekend begins with a Friday evening on East Wanakita. Stay with us through Sunday afternoon and enjoy a full range of activities such as:

Interpretive nature walks
High & Low Ropes
Beach Volleyball
Paddle Boarding - NEW!

Women's Wellness Weekend is ideally suited to those who want the traditional YMCA camp experience with a focus on wellness. It includes:

  • rustic accomodation in cozy cabins on East Wanakita
  • fresh, healthy and delicious homemade meals and snacks (We'll happily accomodate most dietary restrictions with advance notice.)
  • a full range of recreational / instructional activities

Winter Women's Wellness Weekend - January 24 - 26, 2020
Cost: $235 (plus 13% hst)

All the same great aspects of the Fall Women's Wellness Weekends but with a beautfiul winter twist.  Enjoy a cross-country ski tour or an interpretative nature walk on snowshoes. Identify the tracks of the animals we share the land with and enjoy the spectacular winter beauty of the pine forest, frozen lake and moonlight sky.  You won't lack for fun activities and will appreciate the focus on health including yoga and fitness classes, and fresh healthy food choices.
