Need some advice on where to start?

YMCA Fitness Coaching will give you three complimentary visits with a YMCA Fitness Coach to get your active lifestyle off to a successful start.

All YMCA before and after school programs will remain closed following the April Break due to the provincial order to close schools to in-person learning. All YMCA School Age Child Care payments will be suspended at this time, with the exception of outstanding payments.
All YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics facilities remain temporarily closed due to the province-wide stay-at-home order. All active memberships will be placed on hold as of April 3rd and no membership payments will be collected. For complete info please read our Updates to Members.

Game on! There are lots of ways to get moving at the Y. Play your favourite sports and games, or try something new. From kids to adults, we’ve got something for everyone.

Adult Sports

Drop in and participate in a pick-up game of basketball, volleyball, soccer or badminton. Watch for"Adult Sports" on the Sports and Recreation schedule. The featured sport for that time period will also be listed.

Community Rental

Looking for a place for team training, team-building or to host a meeting? YMCA facilities are available to the community for rent. Please direct inquiries to the Membership Desk at the location where you would like to host an event.

Babies and Me

This postnatal fitness class will get you and your baby active, moving and in shape. Always consult with your doctor prior to starting a workout routine. It's recommended moms wait at least 6 weeks to heal after natural birth and 12 weeks post Caesarean section before starting any physical activity.

Family Open Gym

Enjoy some open gym time with your family. The space is open and equipment is available for you to use. Borrow our equipment for a mini-soccer game, shoot some hoops, or play a simple game of tag. This is unfacilitated time so the choice is yours. Please be respectful of others so everyone enjoys Family Open Gym.

Birthday Parties

Enjoy your birthday or team event with fun, energetic staff at the YMCA. The kids will have a great time and you'll enjoy a fuss-free birthday celebration with no messy clean-up. Child Minding

Infant - 10 years. The childing minding program gives infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children the chance to play together in supervised play while parents/guardians are in the building. Open Gym

Enjoy the use of the YMCA gym and equipment during these open periods when facilitated programs are not running. We have great gym facilities and members are welcome to use them.

Creative Club

This program offers an environment that is creative and fun, allowing young artists the freedom to explore their own potential. Activities will include arts, crafts, drama and wellness programs. No registration required.

Pickle Ball

Pickle-ball is a paddle sport which combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis. The sport is played on a court with the same dimensions as a double's badminton court with a similar net to tennis, but is mounted two inches lower. The game is played with a hard paddle and a hollow polymer or plastic-like wiffle ball. Players have a choice of playing in a singles or doubles match....


A fun, active play program that includes circle time, theme-related craft time and an aquatic activity. YMCA staff supervise the transition from land program to the pool. Pool options are as follows: - Preschool 3-5 includes 30 minute swim lesson - Registration is required.

Recreational Sport Clubs

The YMCA offers a unique opportunity for members. Recreational Sport Clubs allow Laurier Brantford Members organize and manage their own clubs to enhance their recreational experience in sports and physical activity. Family Fit

The Family Fit class gives family members an opportunity to bond while staying fit! Parents/Guardians are welcome to bring their children 8+ to this fitness class, which is filled with great workout regiments for the whole family. This program will offer a variety of classes such as family Zumba and Yoga while offering classes that focus on cardio and muscle toning.

Adult Sports Leagues

Register as a free agent and or join as a team, the adult sports league plays weekly against another team at the Laurier Brantford YMCA. Games are officiated and you! Kinder Gym and Swim

YMCA Kinder Gym and Swim combines all the great benefits of the land-based Kinder Gym program plus a half-hour structured pool-based program.
