Operating as a year-round facility, YMCA Wanakita offers something for everyone. YMCA Wanakita has been at the forefront of camping since its very beginning. Programs encourage all campers and participants to take on new challenges, develop leadership skills, make new friends and steward the environment and promote the benefits of outdoor life.

Summer Overnight Kids Camp
YMCA Wanakita offers a variety of excellent summer overnight camp programs for ages 7 - 16. Our balanced program also creates an atmosphere where both technical and social skills are fostered, providing a safe place for campers to ignite their full potential.
Family Camp
YMCA Wanakita offers nine weeks of Family Camp program in the summer. Families arrive midday on Sunday and depart midday the following Saturday. Family Camp operates on Wanakita “East”, separate from the Kids Overnight and Day Camp, except for Week 9, where the “West” side is open for Family Camp too.
Getaways
Whether you are interested in recharging by attending one of the Women's Wellness Weekends, our bringing the whole family to a family getaway program, or want to give back to camp by volunteering, we have many opportunities for you to join us at camp throughout the year. Come ignite your potential!
Outdoor Education
Whether you are looking for a curriculum-linked educational program, or a fun Grade 8 grad trip destination, we have you and your school covered.
