Parent and child in front of cabin

For Summer 2021 only, our entire site, both Wanakita West (typically reserved for Kids Camp programs) and Wanakita East (Family Camp), will be open for an all-inclusive, family-style retreat for one-week sessions throughout the entire summer. Enjoy a family vacation with many of the activities and amenities that YMCA Wanakita has to offer.

Registration is open!

Programs & Activities

Designed with all members of the family in mind. Each day is filled with as much activity (or as little) for your family to play independently and together. All activities are optional, giving families the opportunity to choose whether they would like to particpate or relax on the beach.

Families will enjoy an outstanding sandy waterfront with docks for various waterfront activities, fields, courts and wooded areas for all land-based programs and access to fire pits and various other outdoor spaces.

Facilities

Family Lodge will operate on both Wanakita West and Wanakita East. Each family occupies their own rustic wood cabin outfitted with single and bunk beds, shelving units, and electricity. Cabins are located just moments away from centralized bathrooms and showers. Some cabins on Wanakita West have a private bathroom and shower.
