Rehabilitative exercises at your own pace, using a variety of equipment like water weights or floatation belts. Ideal for those with hip, knee, bone & joint issues or other medical conditions. Everyone is welcome.

It's never too late to learn to swim or improve your stroke technique.
The YMCA can help you achieve your goals and feel confident in the water.
Registration is required. You can register at anytime at your YMCA Health, Fitness and Aquatics membership centre.
Work with a trained swim coach to strengthen and improve through stroke correction, technique tips, skills and drills.
This drop-in class is suitable for intermediate recreational swimmers through to competitive level swimmers/triathletes.
A fun, active play program that includes circle time, theme-related craft time and an aquatic activity. YMCA staff supervise the transition from land program to the pool.
Pool options are as follows:
- Preschool 3-5 includes 30 minute swim lesson
- Registration is required.
Drop in to YMCA Youth Sports. It's all about participating, regardless of your ability level. Develop skills along the way in the sport of your choice. Sports may include basketball, volleyball, floor hockey and soccer.
Programs are drop-in unless otherwise indicated. Sports offered may vary by centre and age group.
Enjoy the use of the YMCA gym and equipment during these open periods when facilitated programs are not running. We have great gym facilities and members are welcome to use them.
Low Impact is a lighter group fitness class offering cardio, resistance and stretch exercises. Resistance exercises involve body weight and light dumbbells. This is a multi-level class and is great for someone getting back into exercising, rehabilitation of the knees or back, the senior population, people working out while pregnant or someone just looking for a low intensity workout.
This class gives you the fun of line dancing combined with the aerobic benefits of a fitness class. These fitness-inspired dance movements will get your heart pumping while you workout with your friends in a fun atmosphere. Great for all levels.
Queenax is a unique functional training system that optimizes results, intensity and fun with guided small group workouts.
Build strength and muscular endurance in the muscles supporting your torso and spine. Core Strength will have you working with your own body weight and/or a variety of equipment to focus on muscles in your abdomen/pelvis and back. Suitable for all levels.
