Swimming is a great way to enhance and maintain cardiovascular health and an activity that can be enjoyed throughout your life.
Lane swims are reserved for members only.
Infant - 10 years. The childing minding program gives infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children the chance to play together in supervised play while parents/guardians are in the building.
Single Child Card (8 hours): $30 Family Card - 2 or more children (8 hours): $42 Single Day pass: $5
YMCA Leaders Corps is a values based leadership program that helps you begin to develop skills that you will use your entire life. Training sessions, games, activities and initiatives get you ready for future volunteer and employment opportunities. Registration is required.
Calling all teens, including non-members. This is your open access time at the YMCA. Come out and enjoy some sports, work out in the Fitness Centre, hang out in the Youth Centre, swim in the pool. Every week is an opportunity to hang out with friends, volunteer or join a discussion on issues that interest you.
Enjoy the use of the YMCA gym and equipment during these open periods when facilitated programs are not running. We have great gym facilities and members are welcome to use them.
A muscle condition class using a barbell and weighted plates. Weights are adjusted during class to provide appropriate resistance for various muscle groups.
Build strength and muscular endurance in the muscles supporting your torso and spine. Core Strength will have you working with your own body weight and/or a variety of equipment to focus on muscles in your abdomen/pelvis and back. Suitable for all levels.
