An Update for YMCA Families
February 21 - Job Action & Impact to YMCA Programs

We wish to share a brief update as new information has become available about progressing job action.

The Ontario Teachers Federation of Ontario (ETFO) and other major education unions recently announced they will continue strike action through another province-wide one-day strike to be held on Friday, February 21, 2020. 

The YMCA will offer current YMCA School Age Child Care families the opportunity to access full-day licensed child care programs during the upcoming one-day strike at 3 locations. As child care spaces are very limited, availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
