An Update for YMCA Families (Catholic Schools Only)
February 25th - Job Action and Impact on YMCA Programs

We wish to share a brief update as new information has become available about progressing job action.

Earlier this week, the Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association (OECTA) announced it will continue one-day rolling strikes throughout the week of February 24th. In Halton, the one-day strike will be held on Tuesday, February 25th.

The YMCA will offer current YMCA School Age Child Care families, the opportunity to access full-day licensed child care programs during the upcoming one-day strike at a limited number of locations. As child care spaces are very limited, availability is on a first come, first serve basis.
