At YMCA Wanakita we believe that camp is more than just the land and the lake, it is the people. This belief is reflected in our experienced, dedicated, and talented team of full time directors.

Each season our directors are supported by a staff team made up of outdoor specialists, teachers, university, college, and secondary school students. All staff are specially selected based on their experience, expertise, and willingness to care for our campers at whatever the cost. Our staff hold current Standard First Aid and CPR C, and come prepared witha number of other certifications including NLS, Wilderness First Aid, and various instructor levels.
