This week at Allan A Greenleaf Day Camp

Welcome Allan A Greenleaf YMCA Day Camp!  My name is Ryan and I am the Site Director this summer!  We are happy to have you here for the first week of the summer! Allan A Greenleaf offers two types of camp Jr. Sports for kids from 5-7 and Sports for kids from 7-12. We have a great staff team this summer, Megan and Lauren will be running the Jr. Sports program and Scott and Kendra will be running the Sports program. Also, we have a Junior Counsellor name Crista. Next weeks theme is Rockin Retro. The first week of summer went by great and we are looking forward to another awesome week at camp. Friday is our theme day where we do theme oriented activities and the kids have the opportunity to dress up in a costume in something that relates to the theme. Tuesdays, the Jr. Sports go rock climbing at the YMCA and on Wednesday the Sports kids will have there chance to rock climb at the YMCA. Also, make sure that your kids have close toed shoes in order for them to participate in rock climbing. Also on Friday's we have our weekly Talent show where the kids can showcase their talents to the rest of the campers. Each week children will have the opportunity to receive Core Value Awards for Respect, Responsibility, Honesty and Caring. Along with each award, children will receive a leaf which will go on our Core Values tree here at Allan A Greenleaf! I am looking forward to a great summer and hope that everyone enjoy's camp just as much as I and the rest of the staff at Allan a Greenleaf do. See ya Monday!
