This week at YMCA Camp Chippewa
Greetings Everyone!
I am happy to say that week three of Camp Chippewa was a successJ! Both counselors and campers alike came all dulled up for theme day on Wednesday in their craziest animal costumes! Congratulations to David, a senior section counselor. His Dr. Do Little costume was a hit, and he won our Animal Antics counselor costume competition.
This week’s theme is Beach Bonanza! We have a jam packed theme day planned for Wednesday, so get ready for crazy costumes and exciting games!
We are also gearing up for Family Night on July 28th. This is a great opportunity to meet the YMCA Day Camp staff from all sites, and enjoy the beautiful outdoors at Camp Chippewa at the same time. The night includes dinner as well as many fun and exciting camp games (including arts and crafts, canoeing and archery). Take advantage of the wonderful opportunity to experience camp culture at its best… I hope to see you all out there!
