Bruce Pearson, ChairBruce Pearson is a retired President, co-founder and owner of Pearson-Dunn Insurance and Financial Services Inc. Bruce is a strong YMCA supporter and serves as Chair of the Audit Committee, Chair of the Board Development Committee and as a member of the Nominating Sub-Committee. His community service includes chair of the Hamilton Police Services Board, Past Chair of the Insurance Institute of Ontario and is a Past President of the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario. Bruce is also past president and provincial director of the Ancaster Agricultural Society. He is a long time Rotarian and former President of the Ancaster AM Rotary. |

Mary Williams, Vice ChairMary Williams is the Associate Vice President of University Advancement at McMaster University. Mary serves on the Board Development Committee, the Nominating Sub-Committee and the Communications Workgroup. Mary is an active volunteer and has served a number of local and national organizations and is currently a member of the Ronald McDonald House Board of Directors and an executive member of the Board for the Canadian Council for the Advancement of Education. Mary and her husband Rob both have a long history with the YMCA. |

Brian Heagle, Past ChairBrian is a founding partner of Feltmate, Delibato, Heagle LLP, a corporate-based law firm with offices in the Halton region. As a corporate/commercial lawyer, Brian is also a sought-after speaker for professional conferences and other events. He is a Burlington native and an active volunteer with many organizations. Brian is committed to the YMCA's philanthropic culture and proud of its leadership role as an inclusive community welcome to everyone. He currently serves as Chair of the CEO Performance Appraisal Committee, a member of the Nominating Sub-Committee and the Board Development Committee. Brian was also awarded the Burlington 2009 Citizen of the Year. |

Craig AlexanderCraig Alexander is Vice President and Deputy Chief Economist for TD Economics. In his role, he travels across Canada, speaking to TD clients and various business groups about economic trends and prospects. He is also frequently quoted by the media on economic issues and writes reports on a wide array of economic and financial subjects. Craig serves as a Member of the Audit Committee and Endowment Fund Committee. In addition to his duties at TD, Craig is also the President of the Canadian Association for Business Economics. |

Greg AndersonGreg Anderson has been Superintendent of Education with the Grand Erie District School Board since 2000. Prior to that Greg was an elementary school principal for 13 years with the Halton District School Board. He has responsibility for day-to-day operations of all 42 elementary and secondary schools in Haldimand and Norfolk counties. Greg has authored 2 books and several magazine articles on parenting and schooling and works out regularly at the Brantford YMCA. Greg lives with his wife Kim southwest of Brantford near Scotland, Ontario.

Hillary DawsonHillary Dawson is President of the Wine Council of Ontario, a non-profit trade association with a leadership role in marketing and establishing policy and future directions for the wine industry in Ontario. Hillary is a well-known, well-respected and frequent speaker on organization, strategic planning, communications and outreach initiatives at political conferences and stakeholder training meetings. Hillary currently serves on the Communications Workgroup and has served as Chair of the Hamilton Downtown Workgroup. Hillary and her family reside in Hamilton. |

Brenda FlahertyBrenda Flaherty is a Past Board Chair, the Executive Vice-President Clinical Operations at Hamilton Health Sciences and an Assistant Professor of Nursing at McMaster University. Brenda is a member of the Board Development Committee and serves on the President & CEO Performance Appraisal Committee and Nominating Sub-Committee. Brenda has demonstrated a commitment to health enhancement in our local community and has become an enthusiastic member of the YMCA family advocating the YMCA's work and Charitable Mission. Brenda has recently been elected to the National YMCA Board. |

Cynthia JanzenCynthia Janzen is Vice President and Senior Consultant at Hellingman Communications Inc., a full-service public relations and marketing agency location in Hamilton. Cynthia is Chair of the Communications Workgroup, is a member of the Philanthropy Committee and the CEO Performance Appraisal Committee. An accredited public relations professional and Hamilton resident, Cynthia has given her time to several local boards including the Canadian Public Relations Society, Rotary Club of Hamilton (Downtown) and the Hamilton Gallery of Distinction. |

Cheryl JensenCheryl Jensen is Mohawk College's Vice President, Academic. Cheryl joined Mohawk as a professor in 1983. Cheryl also serves as Chair of the Industry Education Council of Hamilton, the Faculty of Engineering Dean's Advisory Board at McMaster University, is co-lead of the immigration working group with the Jobs Prosperity Collaborative Hamilton and is a member of the Board of Directors with the Burlington Economic Development Corporation, Skills Canada Ontario and the Hamilton Community Foundation. |

Cal MillarCal Millar is part owner and currently the President & COO at Channel Zero Inc., owners of CHCH News, having acquired the station from Canwest. His past responsibilities have included the Vice President & General Manager at Channel Zero and the Vice President Central Region at Frisco Bay Industries in San Francisco. Cal has served on numerous not-for-profit and hospital boards, including Bloorview Kid's Rehab and is past Treasurer of Palliative Care Services for York Region. |

Dave NanderamDave Naderam is currently President of TapestyBuilder. As a human resources professional he has also shared his expertise as a Human Capital Consultant at Watson Wyatt Canada. In addition to his work responsibilitiles, Dave is working on his PhD in Organization and Management. He is a strong believer in civic engagment as a source of personal and professional growth. Accordingly, he contributes to various non-profit Boards and community-based advisory panels. Dave currently resides in Carlisle with his wife and two children. |

Vicky SmithVicky Smith is the Regional Rehabilitation & Community Coordinator working directly with the Regional Rehabilitation Network and the Hamilton Niagara Haldimand Brant Local Health Integrated Network and all integral stakeholders. Vicky has been an active YMCA member for over 25 years and a Board Member with the Brantford YMCA. Vicky is currently a member of the Board Development Committee and the Nominating Sub-Committee. |

Jim WestawayDuring Jim Westaway's business career, he ran several Canadian public companies and served on several Boards of Directors, some of which he is still involved. Jim has been a policy volunteer in the YMCA, both at the local and national level for more than three decades. Jim is a member of the Communications Workgroup. Today, Jim is retired. He and his wife Nancy live in Brantford. |

Brian is a life long Brantford resident and his entire family are regular YMCA participants.
